UPDATE as of 5/22/23: we hadn't been here in a while and discovered they have had dine-in for a while. We had two outstanding meals even better than anything we remember here. Beef mushu and sizzling tofu with vegetables. Plus a serving of hot and sour soup. The flavors and fresh vegetables were terrific and the portions were excellent. Service was fast and friendly. I'm thinking the ownership may have changed in the last few years. Definitely give this restaurant a try if you haven't been here. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My husband and I really enjoy their food. We did lots of dine-in. And now that all restaurants are takeout only during COVID-19, we're enjoying that! The take out food is ready very promptly and they take all the right precautions for sanitary handling. Recently we enjoyed their chow fun dishes, Kung Pao beef, and the eggplant dish. However, they have plenty of menu options.

Went back and tried some other food. General Tso Chicken and some Sesame Chicken, both with fried rice. Large portions. Fresh. Hot. Tasty. Very good!! First time customer. Went based on other reviews. Was not disappointed. Food was really good. Mongolian beef and fried rice. Large portion. Great flavor. Will be going back to try some other menu items.

I live in OV and have always ordered out at GMG Chinese Bistro until their sauce got to be so thick...like syrup. I tried China Valley yesterday and wow! Fantastic food! It was fresh, light sauce, not too sweet, and the egg rolls were not greasy! The won ton soup was so good and flavorful. I'll be going back there even if a longer drive! I'm so glad I tried it. You won't be disappointed!

The Chinese for here is top notch, excellent. So far, best we've found in Tucson. Family owned. Small, nothing fancy inside but casual, clean and comfortable. Not that well lit at night I front, so it may look closed when it's open! Highly recommend.

Would rate as 3.5 stars. While you probably will not be going here for the service (it varies from chilly to ice-cold), or location (the site seems a bit 'off'), the food is consistently good. Not the most Earth shattering meal I have ever had, but tasty and sufficient for what I was expecting. Since the start of the COVID, this place has been take-out only, strictly no dine-in. This may not be a bad option, as it allows the team to focus on what they do best -- the food. I would recommend if you are looking for a Chinese food in the neighborhood, but wouldn't do a long journey just for this...

Came here for the lunch special with a friend. Everything was so tasty! We had a great experience, and they only had one server working for all of the tables. Incredible service despite! We got our food quickly, and refills constantly. Very delicious for the price, and a nice little gem in Oro Valley. Loved the egg drop soup, and spring rolls. Definitely will be coming back when in the area.

I had lunch here today and I'm very pleased. I ordered the Cashew Chicken, it was delicious, not overly salty like I had in other places. The white rice was cooked to perfection and the portions are very generous. If I hadn't been so hungry I could have easily brought home half of the serving home. Service was excellent and the place is clean and comfortable. Prices are very reasonable as well. I'm definitely coming back.

Best for take out. They pay attention to order variations and double check. I ordered ten different entrées. Combination appetizer. House Lo Mein. House Egg Foo Young. House Fried Rice. Walnut Shrimp. Sweet and Sour Pork. Kong Pao Chicken. General Tsao Chicken. Moo Shu Pork. Plain Lo Mein. Everything was perfectly cooked and quality was excellent. The Walnut Shrimp was exceptional. Kong Pao was nice and spicy. General Tsao was among the best I've had. The plain Lo Mein was just noodles in a light garlic sauce. Exactly what I wanted. Even though I didn't order it, the broccoli in garlic sauce would be my next choice. It's just steamed garlic in garlic sauce. Sounds perfect. Overall, the best in the area in my opinion.
